We Should Spread The Teachings of God and Not Be Like the Pharisees

Jesus who is the son of God was also a human. He lived with people, worked as carpenter and did such a lot of things. He interacted with all kinds of people; even Satan had a talk with Him. He had no partiality and listened to people and even saved them. Jesus was even baptized by man (John the Baptist) even though He was sinless and thereafter enticed by Devil.

He claimed the personality of God through His mission that ended up in much suffering. Before that He did many smashing things like healing the sick. Jesus behaved in an incredible way in that He had His very own way of judging. Jesus always knew what was precisely happening inside the hearts of men. For those that pretended to be righteous, Jesus knew what was exactly happening to them and all their intentions were revealed to Him. In most situations even before asking a question , Jesus answered it in advance using parables. We humans are weak; we usually fool ourselves thinking that God can be fooled. We forget that He knows who we are and that He is all knowing.

Jesus worked in a merciful way towards human beings even the chief of sinners received what they didn't deserve. But Jesus wasn't terrified of condemning the malicious ways of the Pharisees who pretended to be righteous from outside while their inside was rotten. The Pharisees were after finding any fault in Jesus but they were defeated each time they faced Him.

Jesus faced many challenges but He never complained to God nor gave up in His mission, even on the cross He still pitied man for the sins committed. While on the cross he pardoned one thief, the thief who did not tell Him to save himself if indeed He was son of God but told Him to remember him. Jesus Christ never charged nor defended Himself in order to escape death but He died to save mankind from sins.

To work for God isn't particularly easy, we have got to be prepared to be persecuted and face many challenges. The reaction from folk is not friendly but we should follow the example of Jesus. We should not hate but instead love our neighbours. God is the sole witness because at times we might be rejected by others for the sake of spreading the news of God just like the Pharisees defied Jesus Christ. Our duty is to keep on doing the work of God despite all the issues faced. We should spread His word so that many people to be saved in order to attain everlasting life.

Pharisees saw themselves to be righteous and so they even assumed that Jesus Christ was to honor them and not them to honor Him. The question is are we like Pharisees or are we doing God's work the way in which it is supposed to be done?
